Jun 2019: Maintenance is slow to get to work orders and then the work order isn’t closed out. So you will have some random maintenance man entering your apt. when you don’t expect it. Oddly enough the maintenance takes so long to get to you but at least 4 Grassano maintenance men live on the property if not more... the office is unorganized and the leasing agent is incompetent and can’t even review a ledger without asking the manager to do it. No use in giving their names because the staff will change constantly because no one wants to deal with this place for too long. There are at least 10 dryers in the laundry room but only 2 work for the past 6 months. Finally I wouldn’t trust their “all bills paid†setup. I feel like they are scamming people. If you can rent anywhere else I would do so. Review from Google

I was noticing on my check stubs that I was working well over 94 hours every two weeks and wasnt receiving any over time pay. After confronting management about and getting no solution I contacted Texas Payroll Commission for help and was immediately FIRED by Renee the maintenance supervisor; which is illegal termination. On top of being fired I was given a 3 day notice to vacate my apt at the Landing at Pinewood apts even with a 12 month lease still active. I was locked out of my apt after 3 days and charged $450 for cleaning fees and make ready/ painting work as well as some of my belongings trashed out. Diana, the "manager" at The Landing is incompetent for allowing illegal practices to occur. Apr 2019: I would most definitely not recommend even applying for these apartments! moved in July of 2017 & had a huge hose bust in our restroom that was supposed to be fixed had waited over 2 months after bugging & bugging for someone to come look at it to get the issue resolved finally came and stated we would need to move out as they would have to pull the whole wall OUT ! the counter in the kitchen was then removed so we had no choice then to move to another unit. the unit we were given is INFESTED with roaches !!! even after properly cleaning, bleaching home remedies & spraying nothing is helping.. the girls in the office will say they will give messages to manager & you will NEVER receive a callback !!!! This is my family's first time renting anywhere and would not recommend this to ANYONE!!!Jan 2019: Went without a refrigerater for over 5 months. Went without a properly working toilet for over a month. Maintenance lost their snakes and cut my whole kitchen wall out and part of the kitchen ceiling. Still not repaired after over a month. Awning above my apartment started leaking after all the snow. Maintenance came to fix it over a month later and left nails and all the debris for me to sweep up. DO NOT rent from these people. Nothing has been in working order since I moved in, but they have no problem making there way up here if I'm a single day late on tent. Review from Google

Nov 2018: This is by far the worst apartment complex. Staff of extremely rude. My fiancé and I lost our daughter and I was out of work. We got zero sympathy from them. We finished our lease with no problems so we were month to month. So when conditions got worse here. Leaking ceilings, no water pressure. They didn’t want to fix the garbage disposal on the sink so they just ripped it out and said deal with it. Since we fully fulfilled our lease we were supposed to move into an upgraded unit with w/d connections. Nothing, after constant asking and asking it’s like they just ignored us. So now I got a job offer in Washington which I accepted the office is telling me I have to give 60 days notice and trying to bill me for December and January also threatened that if we didn’t pay for the two months they would report it to my credit. Only issue is restroom has leak in ceiling and having pest problems toilet flushing on its own at times and one outlet not working. I have made a maintenance request but so far no shows. Once these problems are fixed i will give a 5* rating... Review from GoogleJun 2017: My biggest issue with this place is nobody cleans up after their dogs. I'll take my dog out with grocery bags (because who doesn't have a bag full of plastic bags) and a scooper only to find poop everywhere. I've witnessed multiple people walking and then not picking up after their dogs. Yes it's gross, but that's part of what comes with owning a pet. You deal with their poop. With a scooper, you don't have to put your hand anywhere near it. Regardless, when we moved in they told us there would be a fine if you don't clean it up and it feels like I'm one of the only few who does it. The only other thing to consider if you're looking to rent this place, is that there's a fire station very close so you'll hear sirens all the time. I called two weeks later and was told there wasn't a work order in place. I call again and now they are telling me that I have to pay out of pocket because I don't know how it happened and they don't either so I would have to pay for it. I know I don't pay renters insurance for nothing! I just want my window fixed it's a safety hazard for my kiddos and I feel with Lubbock wind it'll push through. Review from Google
