Jul 2019: The land lord was nice at times But if she wanted me to finish out my lease then she should of not ask my dad to get me out of there asap then But she wanted to charge me for paint on the side walk when it was not my fault and always wanting to get angry over little stuff when I was living there she could have acted a little better more nice . That is how I felt in my own opinion Review from Google
Jun 2019: I’ve been living here for a year and a half now & my experience with this apartment complex is awesome. The staff does a great job handling issues, taking care of their residents & keeping the property clean. They also do a great job with communication via email, text or paper. It’s in short distance to United, Boltons, Starbucks, McDonalds, Walmart & UMC. I’d recommend this place. Review from Google

Dec 2018: My fiancé and I moved in to Somerset Square back in June 2018, so far we have been very impressed. The maintenance crew is very friendly and efficient. I can't even begin to explain how wonderful the complex manager Brande is. She is always so kind and goes above and beyond for her tenants. She truly, truly cares about us. That poor girl is always running around like a chicken with their head cut off!! If it wasn't for her, this place would fall apart completely. I am so glad we made the choice to move to Somerset Square. Review from Google
Dec 2018: Hello, I moved in to Somerset Square about 6 months ago. And it was probably the best decision I’ve made in a long time. It’s quiet, pet friendly, and a nice complex over all. And most importantly the manager “Brande” is the sweetest apartment manager I’ve EVER rented from! She is always willing to help and work with you. She makes sure work orders are completed in a timely manner. Our heater broke in the middle of a snow storm two weeks ago, and she personally came in on a Sunday which is her day off to bring my fiancé a space heater so we can have heat. I’ve never had that happen to me with an apartment manager! I can honestly say that she truly cares about her tenants, and that Somerset Square would fall apart without her. She works VERY hard to keep the place going! Review from Google
Dec 2018: I have lived here for almost 2 years in the 1 bedroom and have had a good experience. I’ve seen other reviews and while yes, sometimes the water has to be shut off, it’s because they care about the safety of the tenants and getting it fixed as soon as possible. it’s never off for more than a couple hours and they always let us know via letter, email AND text beforehand and what time it should be back on. I had a mice nest living in my kitchen which is terrible i know, but i believe it’s because the room next to mine is used for maintenance storage. i called the office and let them know it was under my oven, and they brought me a new oven the same day and set traps all around and the rodents were gone in a couple of days. i had a leak in my bathroom sink when i moved in, they took money off my rent, gave me a gift card, and fixed it the Review from Google

Dec 2018: Wonderful place to live. I've stayed here 1 1/2 years, office staff are a pleasure to work with, would recommend to my friends and family!! Review from Google
Jul 2018: This place is actually a hidden gem. It is in such a convenient location and the office and maintenance staff are always helpful! I pay my rent by the 3rd every single month and have only had one maintenance request in the last year, I've been to the office twice (for free cookies) because I can do ALL of that online with the community portal; with my free internet. I just renewed my lease for another year. When one chooses to live in a complex, they're bound to run into an unruly neighbor, a bug, or a water leak, life happens. The building was built in the 60's and still holds that era's charm even with it's few faults. The walls and floors are thick and sturdy. All floor plans are surprisingly open. I live in the efficiency building and pay a rate that is spot on for what I need, I've not once had to deal with LpL or Atmos or Suddenlink or t Review from Google
Jun 2018: I was referred to Somerset square from a veterans organization VETSTAR. Brande Niddy was professional with solid handshake, upbeat, motivated and very pleasant. She assessed my situation and showed me an efficiency, that was in the process of being flipped. Over the next 24 hours it wss cleaned, painted, and changed out the carpet. The small issues after i moved were handled quick and painless. I LOVE my new like digs! Want to thank Brande and her staff, and say way to go to Grassano properties for having Brande on their team Review from Google
Jun 2018: DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Plumbing is horrible I can’t take a shower without the water randomly getting super hot then super cold again!! There’s currently two leaks in my kitchen that I have told them about but big surprise I still pick up a puddle of water every night!! But here’s the best part I dropped my 1000$ money order in the rent drop box and it was stolen!! Someone cashed it and did whatever they pleased with it! According to their management it wasn’t their fault but I put it in the drop box which goes into their office!! They refused to credit me that money and even tried to sue and evict me for said money so I had to pay rent twice!! If you like double rent unprofessional maintenance disgusting plumbing not being able to park outside your door or even the company of roaches this is the apartment complex for you!! Side note This Review from Google
May 2018: Somerset square the land Lord gets an mad and start raising her voice at people and act like she is Billy bad she has no respect and wants to charge people for small little thing and if she does not get her way she does it her self they don't even keep up with the swimming pool until it is time to open it she wanted to charge me $ 574.73 and she said that the people how rent from here have to perfect them self from intruders and she does not want to take responsibility for people's safety here that the person how rents has to call the cops then the land Lord She may act nice and then turn mean The one bed rooms are 599 a month Application 50.00 Administration fee is 150 to 200 on special offer Review from Google
Apr 2018: We lived here for our first apartment complex. We were super excited about how affordable it was, until we realized it came with a worse price. Plumbing was always an issue, and dishwasher broke multiple times. When they had to come fix it, they were upset that there was standing water and they had to work through it, but obviously that's the issue. And the COCKROACH infestation was a nightmare. If you live here, you might as well leave all your stuff behind when you move, or you'll be taking cockroaches with you to your new home. It took us forever to get rid of them. Doesnt matter how clean your apartment was or how many times they "sprayed" for insects. Review from Google
Mar 2018: Do not waste your money here! I have live at Somerset Square about a year and a half and since the VERY FIRST day I moved in the bathroom leaked and the ac unit leaked. I emailed and called the managers and they constantly told me they would fix it. Few days would go by and never saw or heard from maintenance. I would constantly call and email the staff to let them know the issues were not resolved but when they would get back to me their response was "Well the work order says complete. If you need to make a new work order we can." I have made 5, yes 5 work orders and to this day they all say complete but I still have a leaking bathtub, leaking ac unit and a bad roach infestation. I have called the health department because I noticed I am getting sicker. Im sure its due to mold and whatever else may be floating around. I still have all the cor Review from Google
Mar 2018: When I first moved into Somerset, I liked it. The staff was great and super nice BUT then they changed the staffing. Rent is okay but I swear every other day I had a note on my door saying the water was being shut off. The water is terrible too. You'll be in the shower then all of a sudden it's extremely hot! It's frustrating. One time I was taking a shower and the water straight up shut off on me! I had shampoo in my hair and was getting ready for an appointment. The maintenance men would just come in without letting me know and that really made me mad. Also, I had an issue with not being able to get into my mailbox at a certain time and really needed something out of there that was time sensitive. I called the maintenance man and he was rude as well as the management. The next day they called someone from the post office to come out and mak Review from Google
Mar 2018: Me and my boyfirend live here now weve had a good experience people are nice and the manager fix any problem if we have one they are real nice and they helped get is in our fist home would deffently come back in the future Review from Google
Mar 2018: I've lived here for around 6 months, everything is always handled professionally and promptly. It's affordable as well for me with all bills paid. Review from Google
Nov 2017: I’ve lived here for almost a year now and have enjoyed it. They work with you on just about everything if you communicate with them. Definitely affordable and maintenance is very good at getting things taken care of in a timely manner Review from Google
Nov 2017: I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone. The buildings are really old so they have busted pipes & leaks all the time. The management is really rude, unprofessional & doesn’t do much to fix any problems. Maintanance is very slow to fix anything. I was left without a toilet & shower for two weeks. Leaks occurred so often they just left the ceiling in my closet open to “fix” the issue. When I moved out the carpet was replaced because it was ruined with the leaked water and they tried to charge me for it. Had they fixed the problem that wouldn’t have happened. You DON’T get what you pay for. Its really expensive to live here compared to what you have to put up with. There are lots of vehicle burglaries in this area also. The building is roach and bug infested, you can have your apt. clean and frequently sprayed, but the Review from Google
Oct 2017: I have lived at this complex for a little over 2 years and do not see myself moving anytime soon. I absolutely love living at Somerset Square Apartments! Review from Google
Oct 2017: I had a great time here. Great first apartment to start out with. I loved being able to pay half the rent each paycheck. Review from Google
May 2017: I live here, the apartments are very affordable and nice. The office staff especially Amanda goes out of her way to do her job and always with a smile. It is centrally located and has store, gas stations, restaurants and a bus route within walking distance. Review from 5/9/17 on Google
Apr 2017: I can't wait to move into this place. The apartment is a perfect size for a single person. Amanda was wonderful. She is what sold the place for me. She was upfront and honest. I had a lot of questions and she was very patience with me and answer all the questions I have. I could not ask for a better experience!! Review from 4/9/17 on Google
Oct 2016: I enjoy living at these apartments but they can get outrageously ridiculous with the late charges either it be on rent and if you don't pay your electric on time. These apartments are all bills paid but somehow we end up paying over charges on electricity and then when you can't pay it on time or by the time they tell you to pay it they add on late charges makes you wonder why you are paying so much. They don't want to show you the electric bill so you just have to go by their word. There's some residents that live there and hardly are ever home so that also makes us wonder why we are getting charged so much for overages on electricity. Review from 10/11/16 on Apartment Ratings
