Jan 2018: I can't say I would EVER sign a lease here after all the bad things I've heard form my friends who live there.... if you saw their game room you would laugh out loud. It's literally a ping pong table that's always missing paddles/balls in a huge room with nothing else in it besides splattered paint. i would rather live in a dorm Review from Google
Jan 2018: This place is a joke! All of my friends who live here constantly complain about how terrible and unresponsive the staff is. Take a tour and see for yourself... they can't even buy paint to make the outside of the building look presentable? It seriously looks like it's still being built. On top of that, I live at The Local and I always see Pointe workers in our building doing who knows what and I even saw their workers drawing with chalk outside the porch of my apartments saying "Sign At Pointe!" Nov 2017: I wish there was a negative button. They dont even deserve a star. We were constantly lied to by the property “manager†Micheal. When my guarantor called to speak to him, Micheal hung up. Every time we called and asked about move in we were assured that it was going to be done. They told us that we don’t have any experience in construction and that looks are deceiving. This place bumped the move in day back more then i can count on one hand. We were able to go sign somewhere else after it was 60 days past our original move in date. Whatever you do don’t sign here. You are better off buying a tent or living in your car. Review from GoogleOct 2017: There was barley a foundation of the apartment complex in august. You manipulated students into thinking they would have a place to live when you barley had dry wall up! How did you miscalculate the move in date to such a degree? You wanted all the money you could get from a bunch of inexperienced college students and screwed them over. This is what you do for a living. It is not rocket science. You gave yourself a 5 star review for your complex that has yet to have residents. You are either a complete idiot or are extremely manipulative. Either way, you need a career change. Other than a few updates regarding inspections and furniture, there has been no other communication to the residents or the guarantors. The lack of communication is starting to make me crazy. The students are now having mid-terms and they all remain HOMELESS! It doesn't matter that they will get compensation WHEN THEY MOVE IN. We have blown our budget due to driving much more than anticipated; hotel costs that WE incurred assuming that we would be reimbursed in a TIMELY manner, but are now informed it will be up to 30 days AFTER move in. Move in day has been delayed about four times, and I honestly do not know when I’ll get to move in. By the fourth delay I finally decided to do the hotel option provided by the apartment complex. I checked in, stay the night, and then went to work the next day. After working a 10 hour shift I went back to the hotel only to find out that my reservation was for one night only. The hotel workers did not have any information for me and the manager of Pointe would not pick up the phone. Turns out they changed my hotel and did not inform me. I understand that hotel rooms were likely to change, but at least communicate that information so I’m not stranded. I sent the manager and email, and told him to cancel my reservation. Did not hear back from him. I have been calling the office and I never get an answer.
