Jul 2019: I’ve lived in Cricket Club II for an exact year now and it has to be one of the worst apartments in Gainesville. My car has been broken into twice while parked right against the building. I live alone and have woken up multiple times to maintenance men and management inside my apartment WITHOUT my permission or warning. The management here is constantly in and out of your apartment whenever they want to be. I’ve also had multiple encounters with disrespectful racist residents. There is also always cops inside the original Cricket Club building and apartment complex beside Cricket Club almost every single day. Worst neighborhood especially for families. Review from Google
Jun 2019: I recently moved into this apartment complex and just have to commend the staff members Keanna and Lauren. They were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I actually moved from a 'luxury' complex that cost 33% more than this complex and hands down Cricket Club II has already been a huge improvement from the other place. Everyone here is so helpful and attentive. The unit itself, a little smaller but better quality craftsmanship and the floorplan utilizes the space perfectly! Review from Google
May 2019: One of the slimiest apartment managers and worst-run apartment complexes I’ve ever experienced. The fact that there are recent reviews actually applauding Lauren, the apartment manager, is a huge red flag to me that they’re fake.
The apartment manager lies about what’s in your lease, because I honestly don’t believe she even knows what’s in the lease. She has told me in person that they can enter your apartment at any time without notice, which is a breach of state law. This is regarding pest inspections, fire inspections, etc. These are all important things for an apartment to do, but not providing notice of entry for routine maintenance is slimy and illegal, although that doesn’t stop them. One time they entered our apartment while my fiancée was asleep in bed (she works weekends and had a rare weekday off) and they were extremely rude and unapologetic. This led to us purchasing a security camera, which I would advise anyone to do who lives here Review from Google

May 2019: My girlfriend and I have lived at Cricket Club II for almost a year and we cannot say enough good things about it. The property is immaculate. The apartments are very nice with the latest appliances and accessories. It is very quiet and in our 11 months, have not heard of one problem security wise.
It is our opinion that for a community to run so efficiently that the staff definitely goes above and beyond in their duties. The property manager, Lauren Flake, is sincerely one of the sweetest and caring people we have ever met. She is always doing things to improve the quality of living here and we have never seen her without a smile on her face.
I would recommend Cricket Club II to anybody and everybody that desires nice apartments, very clean and beautiful landscape, and a fantastic management and staff. Aug 2018: Initially I was really excited about moving here. I signed my lease about a month before I moved in, and on my move in date the apartment was not cleaned. The toilet, tub, and sinks were filthy; the floor wasn't swept; and the apartment cabinets/laundry room had a strange smell. The manager apologized for it not being clean but it was a pretty bad first impression. You could tell that everything was thrown together; there was glue all around the faucets and everything is stained (walls, bathtub, toilet, etc.) so it just seems like I'm staying in a dirty apartment. When they did come to clean the apartment the day after I moved in (I had to let them know that they didn't clean it), they only cleaned the specific things I listed. This place is NOT your next home. When we moved in the apartment was dirty and we had to get the carpet steam cleaned. We were told it was professionally cleaned and the HUGE dog stain would not come out. Well it did after I had to rent a steam cleaner and do it myself. There was mold in the windows the fans and light fixtures were cover in about a half inch of dust. We also had to clean that. When we went to leave they really had to work hard to find dirt in the apartment. With a little pet hair on the base boards and a spot of dirt in the corner of the window sills they said that they could not rent it out. They had to hire a professional to come clean it. At first when you want to rent they behaive nice and you do not feel anything. I rented my appartment from Diana but from time to time they change their employee to deceive tenant. I wanted to rent my appartment for 6 months she forced me to sign my contrct for one year and after 2 months she left to another position at Bosshardt.

We haven't even lived here for two full months and my vehicle has been broken into twice. The floor plan is very nice, and the rent seems affordable, but they hit you with a plethora of fees on your bills (see Ni Zhao's review for the water). The neighborhood is noisy; people drive through at all hours of the night with music blaring from their vehicle. Almost as if to spite you for making the mistake of signing the lease, they drive through slowly as they play their music, windows down, with a blithe disregard for common courtesy. Absolutely do not live here; unless, of course, you're a criminal and are looking for a safe haven surrounded by other criminals. If you want to live with criminals and delinquents, this is the place for you! They are wonderful and understand that things break, including the A/C unit which was replace inside and outside, fans were replaced when the light broke, dryer switch, etc. They are kind, courteous and just good people who care. The grounds are well kept, the apartments are clean, updated and much more comfortable to live in than other places.
