Pros of my specific apartment compared to others listed in KC:
🔴My roommates are sweet and down to hangout, but also quiet and keep to themselves
🟠Our building (4) is super close to the mailroom and all the cool amenities (tennis/basketball/beach vball/🏊 pool/gym/etc.)
🟡We are right across from the 🚍 shuttle that takes you on campus i.e. you take ~ steps from the building and you’re at the 🚍 shuttleðŸš
🟢We are on the second floor, so there aren’t too many steps to take when carrying in groceries (third floor problems), but we also are not on the first floor as that feels less comfortable/safe due to your bedroom being steps away from the parking lot
🔵Our building is close to the entrance for our “phaseâ€. This means that when you have a friend/visitor, it will be easy for them to find your building. This is a really practical and functional pro, as you will find that KC is massive and like a maze if you’re in the middle of it.
🟣Our balcony is facing out towards the “backyardâ€, where people often 🚶 walk their 🐕 pets (emotional support animals are allowed). The view is ❤️lovely greenery, compared to some apartments that face the parking lot and thus don’t offer privacy on the balcony or when window blinds are open (this is especially annoying at night). I really appreciate the privacy of our apartments’ balcony and windows since they face the back, and the view is nature.🌳🌸🌱
Pros of KC in general:

🧡To “take out the trash†all you have to do is open your door and put the trash bag in a box that KC has beside every door and changes out regularly
💛Private bathroom WITH a bathtub ðŸ›
💚Freegym, community activities, 🚍 shuttle to campus
💙Right next to a Walmart and Publix for groceries
💜Lots of living space and fully furnished! The bedrooms come with a bed, desk, chair, and bedside table.
