Myself and my roommate are both year old 👩 females. I am going to be a grad student at the U starting in September and am a coordinator at a group home. My roommate works full ⌚time at Andersen.
We are looking for a 3rd roommate. My roommate has a cat but we cannot have another. We live in the upper level of a fourplex.
We pay 💡electric and internet, landlord pays ⛽gas/heat. Generally utilities are $/month per person. There is coin-operated laundry in the basement, and ample storage. There is one shared off-street parking spot in the alley, otherwise street parking out front.
It is very important that our new roommate is 🎇neat and participates in household chores. This means no dishes in the sink and stuff is put away in common area. My roommate and I dont 🍺drink; we do not want to live with someone who does, unless it is only occasionally, and preferably not at home. We some⌚times host friends on weekends to have dinner, but do not want drunk people over at our house.
We both wake up early and like the house to be quiet at bed⌚time. not as big a deal on the weekends but ideally our new roommate will be fairly relaxed and not have rowdy people over. We live in a fourplex so our neighbors appreciate us being quiet on weeknights as well.
We like to be outdoors and be active; hiking, 🚴 biking, kayaking/canoeing. I like to read and my roommate likes to work with her hands. Cooking is fun and so is sharing.
But for real, please dont reach out if you arent 🎇neat and tidy; I will resent you if I find dishes in the sink in the morning :) And serious about the 🍺drinking thing, we dont want to be around that. Healthy, happy home over here.
