Hi, Loading...

May 2018: This was actually the cleanest and most up to date IHOP I have ever been to. The staff was very nice. The French toast hot chocolate was undrinkable as it tasted like chemicals, but the whipped cream on top was good. The Belgian chocolate pancakes were a good dessert. Review from Google
May 2018: IHOPs are one of my favorite morning stops. Read other inconsistent reviews of this unit, particularly on service. Had a good personal experience here. I do hope that management reviews their service in light of these complaints. Overall, this location does a good job of preparing food tithe IHOP standard of excellence, that we have all.come.to expect. Have to give this place a thumbs up! Review from Google
Apr 2018: The WORST service I have EVER received. There were only 5 tables in the place and it took them over 1 hour to even recognize they had customers waiting. When we finally were asked to be seated the girl (yes I remember you name well) copped an attitude! I am surprised she even has a job!! The old, grungy, dirty, hole in the wall down the street was way better! Sometimes, bigger and newer IS NOT always better! The manager was your saving grace that night! In fact, if it wasn't for her, that place would have shut down! Review from Google
Mar 2018: As a parent this is a decent place to live for my daughter. There are cheaper places but there is a greater measure of security. I also like the fact there is a parking deck. Any issues she has faced are nothing that the office staff can control but they are responsive and friendly. They are really nice and very close to campus which is a plus. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants also. Review from Google
Dec 2017: The The residents are the reason I would not be able to give 5/5 stars. Many of them are loud and do not respect the rules of the apartment complex. The stairwells smell like urine and feces because of immature, drunk residents. The fire alarm goes off at least 10 times a month at obnoxious times because residents are burning food, pulling fire alarms, or smoking/vaping. If you move to Stanhope, you're going to wake up at ungodly hours every month because of fire alarms. During finals and other examinations during the year is by far the worst. The facility itself is great but there are better living environments for students than this one. Review from Google
Dec 2017: Sure, this place is expensive, but I've lived here since August and have already signed for next year. My roommate and I appreciate not having to drive to campus every morning, and it's nice to be able to fill out a work order with the confidence that maintenance will come fix something in a timely manner. The fire alarms are frustrating, but those are mainly because annoying people pull them, so hopefully that will stop soon. The office staff are friendly and seem genuinely interested in helping solve problems, which I've heard isn't always the case at other complexes. Bottom line: if you're not worried about money and want somewhere furnished and within walking distance of campus, Stanhope is a good option. Otherwise, there are plenty of places a short drive from campus that may not be as nice but are cheaper and good enough for college. Review from Google
Oct 2017: Super friendly people who work here, and a fast turn around for work orders. I'm staying in a studio apartment and it's just enough for one person. Its easy to take advantage of all of the amenities here from the cyber cafe to the 24 hour gym. It may be on the pricier side when it comes to rent and paying for parking, but the real reason this apartment building is so great is it's location to NC State's campus. I'm just a 5 minute walk from my first class of the day and I have enough time to walk back and grab lunch from my apartment. Not to mention all the great retailers below like a 24 Hour CVS and IHOP. don't worry about random people being near your apartment because each entry way to residential areas have remote key entries. Of course since these are student apartments you have to come in expecting to have some loud neighbors, but that Review from Google
Oct 2017: The office staff is helpful! Good at making sure mataince request are taken care of in timely manner. My favorite is Ellie! Always one to try and get the residence involved in events going on at the complex! Very customer motivated! Review from Google

Oct 2017: Who is going to pay 4$ an hour for guest parking? The walls are paper thin. Live 5 minutes off campus and get an incredibly nicer apartment. Stanhope will con you on prices at every turn. The benefit of living within walking distances to classes is the only thing that makes this a two star review. The stairways smell like piss, the staff are rude, and again the walls are so thin you can hear people talking in the room over. Review from Google
May 2017: Always construction, trafffic, and barely any parking for guests. Management is also rude. Staff is nice though.
May 2017: This place is fake. They say its luxury but everything in the apartment breaks and then it takes maintenance half a year to fix it. You pay a arm and a leg for parking and then the gates stay open for 11 months of the 12. When other people steal your spots they tow you who actually pay them. The only good thing about Stanhope is the location to campus. The management of the facility is poor at best. Review from 5/10/17 on Google
Apr 2017: This place is close to NCSU and right on hillsborough so it is not too bad. I don't like that there is always construction though.
Apr 2017: In my opinion, the cost of living in Stanhope is much too high for the quality of living that it offers. Yes, it is extremely close to campus, and yes, it is a fairly new building and the rooms and facilities are fancy, but the students that live there make it an okay-at-best place to live. They are extremely loud, destructive, and more often than not show a complete disregard for the general well-being of the apartment complex and those living in it. The public areas in Stanhope (especially stairwells and elevator areas) are usually covered with trash and miscellaneous puddles of liquid that range from urine to Gatorade. Review from 4/3/17 on Google
Oct 2016: The office is helpful when contacted, but there are a lot of problems. We did not receive a remote for the TV, and many other maintenance issues were present when we moved in to the apartment. But the WORST thing was that the intercoms in the rooms alerted everyone that there was an emergency, when they were testing the system AND DID NOT INFORM US. Apparently they did not know they were testing the system (?), but just shows disorganized management. Way too expensive for what it is worth. I will say the security is excellent though, and the gym is top notch, so there are perks. But overall it isn't worth the money. Review from 10/7/16 on Google
Feb 2016: Stanhope has been a great place to live. I think it really provides for it's residents and offers a lot of opportunities to be productive. The only thing is it could be cleaner and have a better access to parking spots. Review from 2/22/16 on Google
Jan 2016: The fire alarms were out of hand for a while. On multiple occasions they went off at 2 or 3 a.m. during the week for about 30 mins and many more times during the day. This makes it impossible to sleep as they are loud and located in every bedroom and the common room. The fact that this happened more than a few times is inexcusable. Maintenance doesn't fix anything. Took 3 trips to fix a crack in the drywall. The guy who works for them stood and watched while two contractors who hardly spoke English fixed and painted a 2 foot strip of drywall over the course of 5 days. Half of my 4-person apartment's mailbox keys didn't work after finally getting them 2 months after they were promised (that is 2 and a half months into the semester). Review from 1/22/16 on Google
Jan 2016: Stanhope is a nice place and I like living here but I wish it was cleaner. The hallways, stairwells, and elevators are always filthy. For this place to be so new, I feel like it should be way cleaner than what it is. I'm tired of smelling trash, pee, and throw up when I walk to and from my apartment. Review from 1/10/16 on Google
Oct 2015: If you want to live the luxurious life while your in college you should give Stanhope a try... First off in the first three weeks of living there, they will tow your car only because you parked in someone's "reserved" spot that apparently they payed more money for than the already ridiculous amount of money you have to pay to park there. The worst part is the only way to tell if a spot is reserved is by a printed sheet of paper that they tape to the wall which kids tear off days later.also while living at Stanhope you will be constantly woken up by a fire drill at 2-3 in the morning at least twice a month and with your luck they will be on nights before major tests, but don't worry Stanhope will make it up to you by giving you a free v-neck shirt and a cookie. Review from 10/22/2015 on Google
Oct 2015: It's a nice enough place to live, but they REALLY need to get their stuff together. The good things: the parking garage is connected to the building, so you can park on the same floor that you live. don't get me wrong, this is an amazing feature and definitely the best part about living here. Convenient to and from classes, and the gym is great for cardio (barely any resistance machines though) The bad: where to begin. The first day I moved in, I put all my dishes in the dishwasher and ran the dishwasher. SUPER difficult to close, slam it shut anyway. Midway through the cycle, I notice a huge puddle on the floor. The next day I put in a work order for a leaky dishwasher. Review from 10/14/2015 on Google
Oct 2015: Get ready for a fire alarm at least once a week between 2:00am and 4:00am. I've never experienced as many fire alarms throughout my entire life than I have living here for only a month. The walls are very thin, so cross your fingers and hope that you don't get stuck to a room of roudy, annoying and inconsiderate drunkards like I did. The rent is very expensive and everything in the rooms is very cheaply made. I think that I could find better quality cabinets and furniture at the local Walmart. The best part about this place are the non-kept promises of free tee shirts and free food (and Mail keys, which we STILL don't have...). Have a great stay and don't say I didn't warn ya!
