May 2019: Nice and quiet. No problems. No bugs. Although small, it is in my budget. Review from Google
Mar 2018: I lived at Pine Knoll for the duration of my Master's program (2 years). The apartments are really close to NCSU campus, and they are within walking distance to the graduate campus. There is a convenient wolfline bus stop right in front of the apartments. There are many great restaurants nearby, and downtown Raleigh is only 10 minutes away. The buildings are old, but I never had any problems with anything. Maintenance was always respectful and came out in good time. I always felt safe living here and would recommend these apartments to any student.
Jan 2014: Good: - very close to NCSU. I was always on time to classes - transportation is just in front of the apartments - very quite place - not weird things have ever happened in the last 4 years - very close to the drugstore in Mission Valley and other restaurants - very good price, they do not increase the rent - they fix problems in your unit VERY fast and efficiently - staff have been very helpful Bad: - units are old - the insulation is bad - not high speed internet (however it is free) Review from 1/11/2014 on Apartment Ratings

Dec 2013: I moved here because it was close to NCSU and it was the cheapest apartment in the area. If you can, move to a different part of raleigh/right outside raleigh, the value is way better. The insulation is terrible, you run your heater (yep, no central heating, in never cuts off either) until you're dying its so hot and then you cut it off and in 15 minutes its freezing again. You can hear the pipes anytime someone around you is running water, and you can hear the people above you walking. The maintenance is pretty good about fixing things, which is good because everything is so old something is constantly broken. Review from 12/14/2013 on Apartment Ratings
