Jul 2017: Lived here for 4 years (2013-2017). Most of the tenants are NCSU students. Apartments are clean and comfortable. Maintenance requests are fulfilled in timely manner. Review from Google
May 2017: It is one of the leasing apartments one can find. The usp of the leasing office is their maintenance and quick response during weekdays. The team is dedicated to the give the tenants best service. The size of the apartments are huge and very spacious. The proximity to Food Lion and bus stop makes it good for local students. Highly recommended! Review from Google
Aug 2016: CRIMINAL, NOISY, DURTY, NON-PLEASANT apartments with NON-SAFATY SUPPLEMENTS. CRIMINAL: The area is very criminal. Previous Kensington Part owners kept night watchman and people felt safety. New one abolishes the guard position. As a result my car tires were punctured (along with other 14 cares on the apartment parking) on the night of past Thanksgiving. Two my bicycles were stolen before. My neighbor after tire renewal found her car installed on the bricks, etc. NOISY: Noise-proofing is bad. You will hear music in next apartment. You will hear the steps of neighbors who live above you. Review from 8/15/16 in Apartment Ratings
May 2015: I am a grad student who has been living at Kensington Park for almost a year. In general, I think it is a good place to live with great value for the money. My apartment is very roomy and seemed like it had brand new carpet, countertops, and cabinets when I moved in. Office staff and maintenance are both courteous and competent. The location is great, right on the Wolfline and close to campus. I have seen one or two roaches a couple different times. Both times, my roommate and I let the staff know, and they had someone come and treat the place within a couple of days, which killed them off almost immediately. Jul 2014: Do not move here unless you like to deal with awful staff. We had so many problems here. They wouldn't fix things that we needed; for example, we had a horrible roach problem, (to the user who suggested that people with bad roach problems don't do dishes, that's a lie. We are three girls. We keep it clean and do our dishes consistently.) but they ignored our calls or told us they would "get it taken care of." Also, they don't return your security deposit checks on time or at all. I'm fighting to get mine. I moved out two months ago, but they told me that I would have it in 30 days. Apr 2014: I moved to NC from out of state, and signed my lease with Kensington Park site-unseen. I've never regretted the decision and am getting ready to renew my lease for another year. The office staff is pleasant and helpful. On the few occasions I've needed maintenance, they too have been friendly, prompt, and professional. My apartment did have a roach problem initially. But the office sent pest control out the day after I notified them, and it's been under control since. They spray regularly, and overall seem diligent and proactive in addressing bug problems. I'm also a big fan of the area. The bus stops are convenient - I ride the wolfline almost daily Anonymous review from 4/7/2014 on Apartment Ratings
Nov 2013: I've been at Kensington Park since the beginning of September and I love it here. To start, I've only seen like 2 bugs which is typical for Raleigh (and no, they weren't roaches). I'm sure the people who get roaches don't do dishes regularly. And the apartment I saw before moving in looks just like the one I'm in now (just as new-looking). When I moved in, everything was spotless. The carpet had just been cleaned, the dishwasher and all other appliances were in perfect working condition. The kitchen cabinets aren't very modern, but they're clean and that's really what counts for me. The shower is a little outdated, but there was no mold or anything to complain about. Jun 2013: don't be sucked in just because the rent's lower than some other places unless you want to put up with problems and poor management. They showed us their model which was nice enough and we decided to move in. We asked to see the actual unit they were assigning to us but was told it was being "remodeled" so they said we couldn't see and couldn't move in right away. NEVER RENT ANYWHERE where they won t show you the actual apartment you will be renting! Not only did we have bad roach problems, the place was nowhere near the quality of the model they showed us. The very first night the roaches came out in force. I got up for a drink of water and they were crawling over our sheets and on the counters. Anonymous review from 6/28/2013 on Apartment Ratings
