Hi, Loading...

Sep 2019: I recently became a resident here at The Avenue Apartments. My experience began with a Marketing Consultant by the name of Jay. Jay welcomed my family and I to this property with open arms. My husband and I toured the model, we were offered refreshments and Jay was very knowledgeable about this property... You can tell leasing is something he takes with passion!! This property highly recommended. They have many floor plan options to offer. Review from Google
Aug 2019: We have lived here for about 5 years and it was time for something updated and with a washer and dryer!! I had injured my finger really bad and my husband works 6 days a week!! They were so kind to started letting us move in a week before our lease started due the apartment being ready but then allowing us to do that did not put a lot of pressure on him and me not being able to lift heavy items at the time!! I just wanted to thank them for allowing us to do this!! It really helped us and and I could not thank y’all enough!! But I love this apartment it’s so nice thank you again Review from Google
Jul 2019: I've been at the Avenue for about 2 years now. My overall experience has been pretty good for the most part. If course there have been issues, mostly due to inadequate staffing in the maintenance department. The worst I've experienced is having my sink and dishwasher out of commission for 5 weeks, resulting in my having to wash dishes out of a plastic tub inside my bathtub. Yes, that's a bit extreme, hence the 3 stars. However, I can say that the office staff are helpful, they're not keen on answering the phone though; I've been here long enough to see an entire staff change and even with those who have gone and here now, they've been very helpful. I love my current unit, it's a 1 bed, 1 bath with a den and it's very spacious and comfortable. I've seen reviews complaining about roaches and pests, I've never experienced that. In my first unit I did have crickets coming in but no roaches. In my current unit, I don't have any pest issues Review from Google
Jul 2019: Mr. Micheal the office guy was very helpful and helped me out with a last minute living situation I was down to 2 days with my previous lease elsewhere but Mr. Micheal did everything he could to help me out and I’m in there guys!!!! All settled and I love my new apartment and the community... give this man a higher position!!!! Review from Google
Jul 2019: I did not enjoy my experience! In fact, I loathed it. The customer service and level of professionalism with staff is horrible. They don't answer the phone and express little concern/urgency when situations happen. Maintenance issues were constant and they were not very responsive to the complications I had such as my tub filling with sewage, my refrigerator going out, the lock on my door being installed incorrectly, my closet experiencing flooding, and me getting locked out of my apartment as a result of inept staff. A tree also fell on top of my building. Sat there for about a week. ANOTHER tree fell almost hitting my car. It was left in the walkway of my building for about two weeks. We had to go all around close to the woods just to get inside. Would never recommend staying here. New staff, organization, professionalism, and actual concern for residents who pay money to live here would be a start for improvement Review from Google
Jul 2019: I have lived here for 1 year. At this point I have had little to no issues. The place is quiet, neighbors are chill, and everything is good. Had issue w/ AC just recently. Due to age, entire system was replaced. Neal (Maint. Head) quoted next day. As luck had it. Schedule opened w/ service company and repair completed same day. Kudos Neal! Jul 2019: I find this apartment complex to be very nice, even in the classic models. The compound itself is expansive and i enjoy the abundance of nature. The downside though is that it is common to find gnats and spiders on the first floor. With some extra pest control, this place would be perfect. Review from Google
Jul 2019: Just as with anything, nothing is ever perfect; however, my time at The Avenue hasn't been awful. It's a family oriented area and the pool area is a plus definitely. The units are unrenovated but spacious enough. I wish the park area was improved a bit more for the kids though. - TW Review from Google

Jun 2019: Lived here for the past four years. We had the best neighbors and we met a lot of wonderful people. We will forever cherish the memories here. We decided to move into a house bc we were ready for a change. The location is the best part of this apartment complex. There are many restaurants, nearby grocery stores and several daycare options. The Avenue management has updated the playground, pool area and has repainted the outside of the apartments. The neighborhood looks better overall. We do not have any pets but it’s a dog friendly apartment complex and most residents are great about picking up after their pets. Overall I would recommend. Review from Google

Jun 2019: My opinion of this entire complex has changed since dealing with the new office manager, Michael. He went out of his way to help me and as a result relieved a lot of stress I felt during the moving process. Great to deal someone who is willing to help...this kind of change is exactly what The Avenue needs!!! Review from Google

May 2019: Maintenance is absolutely terrible at this place. I had a leak in the bedroom back in February that took over 2 weeks to fix. Now I have a leak in the kitchen and the hallway. Over the past 5 days I’ve called emergency maintenance 4 times, put in a work order, went to the office and emailed pictures of the damage done by these leaks. I still haven’t heard a thing. I now have standing water in my hallway and I’m positive nothing will be done. If you don’t have the staff to schedule maintenance workers you need to hire them. If they are simply avoiding actually doing their jobs then maybe it’s time you consider replacing them with people that will. Needless to say I will not be renewing my lease. Review from Google

May 2019: I would honestly rate this with a zero, but that's not an option. I hated living here so much that I signed a new lease elsewhere two months before mine was up and paid two rents during that time. The office staff and management is incredibly rude and maintenance orders take forever for completion, if they're completed at all. And forget trying to get the staff to accomplish anything. They're basically useless unless you have a rent check in your hand. I had actually decided at one point to tough it out and move to a new unit so I didn't have to pay new security deposits and pet fees, but the manager was incredibly unhelpful. They require 60 days notice for literally anything (renewal, move, etc.). Yet a couple of days before I was at 60 days, they hadn't even sent out renewal notices and she said that she didn't know what they would have available. When I told her that this was a bit frustrating considering I had been in contact about moving units since the first of the year, she responded "yeah, its frustrating for us, too Review from Google
Apr 2019: Really nice place. So many families and very dog friendly. Kids are always playing at the new playground and they are redoing the pool. You can tell they really work hard to keep it nice. It is hard to reach the office by phone but if you stop by you can see how sweet everyone is and how hard they are working. A few new faces joined the team and they are really working hard. Mar 2019: I can’t say the negative reviews are false bc they are mostly things I have experienced/witnessed. Now that I have been here for about 10 months I can say this is not worth the money, and a terrible place to live. I regret moving my family into this complex; especially for what we pay. Mar 2019: I had some MAJOR problems with repairs and bugs but the staff has gone out of there way to make things right and get rid of the bugs. The staff has always always been extremely nice even the maintenance men are nice. I love the location and it is very quiet. Management really cares about the residents here and that's hard to find. My only complaint is my neighbors smoke and people with dogs do not clean up after their dogs. Other than that, I'm happy living here.
Jan 2019: They expect me to pay $865.00 monthly, but yet I have put in 6 different work orders in for the same 3 plumbing issues. They will come out to see what the problem is, never fix it, and then never see them again. Maintainance said it was because it's a rehab Apt why he can't fix my problems...and management has to address it. What is a rehab Apt anyway? I cannot use my kitchen sink at all, called maintenance for an emergency flood that would cause water damage, he said he would come the next day, but never did. I had to buy a dehumidifier to prevent water damage and molding. Also, scolding hot water runs constantly in the tub, my son even was burnt, I told them and they just ignored me. This has been going on for 3 months, I'm so through with this place. don't waste your money. Review from Google
Jan 2019: Hello everyone, I moved here from PA in November. So far I only have nice things to say about the avenue. Yes I had to contact the office my 1st day for minor issues and the response for me was responsible. Everyone have been respectful and pleasant to me. I love living here as well as my boys. It's clean, nice looking and pretty quiet. Looking forward to my older children to move out here because the avenue is where im referring them. So thank you to the avenue for having such a wonder clean and quiet place for my family. Review from Google
Jan 2019: DO NOT MOVE HERE! I'm usually not one to write reviews but this is crazy. I've been here less than a month and I've had to call the office and maintenance men more than anything. No place is perfect I get that but I shouldn't have this many problems in less than a month. My freaking roof is leaking in my bedroom right over my bed. Maintenance came to put a patch over it and said they would need to get someone out here to look at the roof. Week later it rained again, that patch plus a puddle of water came down on me on my bed again at 2am. Went to the office and they said they didn't know anything about my roof leak and said they would get back to me about it. Almost a week went by and still haven't heard anything, called no one knows anything or not answering my calls. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Review from Google
Dec 2018: I have been living at The Avenue going on two years now I moved into my recent apartment in July. My 1st apartment was an old outdate apartment. I was going to move from my apartment when my lease was up I decided to stay because in my old outdated apartment I didn’t have major problems and would ONCE in a while see a water bug due to where the apartments are located it’s a high moisture area. I decided to renew my lease and move to a “newly updated” apartment, and that’s where the major problems began. When I went to pick up my keys my original apartment that I was supposed to transfer to was not ready so they transfer me to another “updated” apartment. When I moved in to the apartment I was told that they were going to come back and fix my counter tops, my counts tops don’t match I have the old counter tops on my bar area and Review from Google
Dec 2018: I have only been here for a few months and I specifically asked if they had problems with bugs and I was told no. Every month I have had problems with roaches. It took them a week to fix my heating unit. And now it's been a entire month and I have had a hole in my bathroom ceiling so when it rains it leaks. All they keep saying is the vendor will be out.The staff is nice I will say that. But how can you call these luxury apartments and have roaches I dont understand. I came to these apartments because of the location and size. NOT ROACHES. I should have believed the reviews. Review from Google
Dec 2018: This place is a joke. Luxury apartments, yeah right. good luck finding any humans that work there, only corporate thugs. We went a week with a messed up tub and couldnt shower and they took their sweet time. don't waste your money. Review from Google
