Oct 2019: Very beautiful private lake and dog park. Well kept landscape and absolute wonderful staff. The office staff go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied and comfortable! Very quick on any Maintenance.

Oct 2019: Stonelake Apartments are easily the best apartments we have lived in...ever! The staff (Lynsday, Maggie, and Sabrina) are extremely receptive to any issues reported and have the work orders completed in a timely fashion. They also follow up on the work orders to make sure they were completed. The grounds are wonderfully kept. They are great about sending text messages to update the tenants on anything going on around the property or scheduled pest control/smoke alarm/air filter changes. Stonelake is the first complex that’s made me want to stay here more than my initial lease. Lindsey, Maggie, and Sabrina in the office are amazing. They are always willing to talk and have treats on hand for our pup. The pool is nice and the grounds are beautiful. Great views of the playa as well. Awesome place to live. Review from GoogleSep 2019: I came to Stonelake in 2010. Nine years later (!), what was suppose to be a temporary living arrangement has now become a home. Why Stonelake? Let me count the ways:
- Management - Always friendly and courteous. Office staff go out of their way to please residents.
- Community functions - Cookouts on the deck, monthly BINGOs, Christmas decorating in the office... Events are scheduled throughout the year.
- Living environment - The complex is clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing. My friend recently visited for the first time, "Wow, you live in a nice place!"
- Maintenance - The guys generously help with projects big and small -- most recently helping save my stuck cat from a roof.
- A personal touch - Life happens. The Stonelake staff is understanding of hiccups that occur offering assistance when possible. Dec 2018: We love living at Stonelake! We're coming up on our one year mark here and we've decided to renew here because it's so nice! Maggie and Lindsey (the managers) are amazing! I'd recommend these apartments just for them! I've never had a problem they wouldn't go out of their way to help me with. They always say hi when they see us around the property and they know all the residents by name. Maintenance is always quick and the guys are super nice! The property is beautiful by itself, but it's also super well kept and clean. They just updated the shared laundry rooms a couple months ago and they look great!
As for the apartments themselves, we're a newlywed couple and this is our first apartment together. We're just starting out, and we don't have a bunch of stuff yet. For reference, our apartment is a small one bedroom (E floor plan). Dec 2018: I really enjoy living here. There are some basic upkeep issues, but maintenance is always quick to fix any major problems. The grounds are kept beautifully and the staff is great! The grounds are well-maintained and consistent having little things updated, The staff is friendly and genuinely wants to make sure you are comfortable. We have a dog and she enjoys living here as well, with easy access to the private dog park and a walking trail around the lake... not to mention the schoolyard park and numerous neighborhoods close by she for sure gets her fill of walks and play sessions. The grounds are stocked with dog stations to keep everything clean and easy to throw away.
We have lived a lot of places in Lubbock over the years but StoneLake is for sure one of the best in town. If I had to complain about something, their washer dryer hookups are in areas too small to fit conventional washer dryers in all but 1 apartment floorplan. Review from GoogleJan 2018: Signed up for a 12mo lease with a dog, and had a great and easy time. They have the biggest dog park in the city on site, and it's always fairly clean and green. I broke my lease after 6mo to pursue a job out-of-city, and there was no fuss. The management is attentive, and the grounds are dead quiet. The pond is stocked with crappie, bass, and catfish, and I routinely ate the catfish and bass. haven't died yet. Overall, the quality of the apartments are older, but well maintained. The maintenance crew is nice, trash is reasonably dumped, and response time is great. Enjoyed every minute of it and wish they had another property in my new town. I viewed the complex in January, and filled out an application and was approved toward the end of February. I was approved quickly and was able to put down by deposit. 2 months later(just a couple weeks before I was supposed to move in) they called and said they had rejected my application despite already having an email that it was approved. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my credit or rental history. I've never had any kind of problems renting. Not only did they reject me so last minute leaving me with almost zero time to pack or move, it took them 60 days and about 10 phone calls to return my deposit because it had already been processed.

It is on the old side, hopefully the complex would consider updating the buildings, windows, etc. Other than that a great staff and maintenance gets everything completed within a couple of days! Review from 5/3/17 on GoogleDec 2016: This place is a joke! Start with the maintenance issues. My wife and I lived there for two years (thankful to say the nightmare is over!) during which time we experiences regular leaks, one of which resulted in in a large piece of the ceiling falling, and more than once when the leak was "repaired", it was back a short time later. Many of these were the result of A/C issues. These issues became so severe at times when the A/C went out that we could not stay in the apartment, such as during the summer months when it was so hot that we would not keep our infant daughter in the house. The current manager is rude, indifferent, and incompetent!
