Jun 2018: I lived at Raider's Pass from May 2017 to May 2018 and if I could leave zero stars I would. There are many things about this apartment complex that have led me to rent a house instead of renewing my lease with them. 1. My boyfriend also lives at Raider's Pass and has a cat. She was approved by the front office and he pays rent for her. One day maintenance came into the apartment and even though they were told there was an animal in the apartment, maintenance proceeded to leave the front door wide open while doing whatever it was he was there for, which led to the cat going outside and being locked out for most of the day. Luckily she was found but this situation could have been avoided entirely if the apartment complex cared. 2. Mailboxes. There is no security what-so-ever. The individual mail keys tenants are given can open the entire ma Review from Google
Jun 2018: More expensive and lesser quality than most apartments in the area. I went over a week without AC, and my in room internet connection hasn’t worked since I moved in (almost a month ago), because the staff doesn’t care about getting things fixed. Luckily I only have to live here for the summer, I can’t imagine living here a whole year Review from Google
Feb 2018: If I could post a negative star then I would. There is so many problems its hard to know where to start. How about all the numerous break ins in the complex due to the fact that it is not gated. THEIR WEBSITE SAYS GATED COMMUNITY AND IT IS NOT! THIS AMENITY IS NOT PROVIDED. Next I called because there was a lot of screaming downstairs so I wanted the apartment complex on site officer to check it out and the front office said they couldn't get ahold of him. THEIR WEBSITE SAYS COURTESY POLICE OFFICER BUT THIS AMENITY IS NOT PROVIDED! Next we continually get mail that is not ours and our mail is weeks late. Next we called because we suspect bed bugs in our apartment and they said they would get pest control to take a look and they haven't came yet but online the maintenance request says its been taken care of. THEY LIED! This is a horrible comple Review from Google
Feb 2018: Close to the campus, cheap, school bus available, facility is very good, staff are polite and friendly, response fast for the work order. I have a good experience here. But the roommate matching system after the first year is not good at all. They matched us a new roommate with a dog, but my other roommates clearly wrote on the roommate matching survey said She is allegic to the fur. And I said I don’t want to be disturbed after midnight on the survey before I moved in, but the roommate stay up very late with friends and talk aloud. The others are very good. Review from Google
Feb 2018: Great place to live! Walking distance to campus. Apartment complex is clean. Staff is very friendly and always do whatever they can to help you. The maintenance team is friendly as well and they respond fast to requests. Highly recommend living at Raiders! Review from Google
Feb 2018: Best price I could find and the staff is very friendly. Workout room is normally pretty clean and the apartments themselves are roomy. However, we’ve put in two work orders for our leaking pipes under the sink and they’ve come to fix it...twice. However, it’s still leaking. Also, the printer in the clubhouse is constantly not working, but they’re willing to print for you at the front desk. WiFi in the rooms is decent and overall this place is a good bang for your buck. Feb 2018: This apartment complex has been good to me over the years. It’s quiet, it’s close to campus and where I work, and the residents are friendly people. The internet is pretty fast, there is a pool, a gaming room and study lab. The complex isn’t perfect, but it pretty much has everything you would “need” in order to have a successful school year. Jan 2018: Raiders pass is exactly what I needed for the right price. I pay under $500 and feel safe. When my AC went out, they were there in 2 hours to fix it. I would recommend this place to someone who needs a place with roommates for under $500 Review from Google

Jan 2018: Living at raiders pass has personally been a joy. It is close to campus, the social atmosphere is great. It has all the amenities that one could want. All the CAs and management are friendly and helpful. Raiders Pass deserves a higher rating! Review from Google
Jan 2018: Selecting Raiders Pass in my search for an apartment last year was the best decision I could have made. The close proximity was paramount for me, as I can walk to class if I please while still having the ability to live off campus with more space and privacy. It is one of the most affordable apartment complexes to live in, and the emenities make living here so convenient. Being able to print a document for free before going to class, and having a workout facility right next door helps make my academic and physical goals more achievable. Thank you Raiders Pass! Already renewed my lease! Review from Google
Jan 2018: Raider's Pass is not too shabby for a place to stay. I never personally lived here myself but my boyfriend does and a handful of my friends live in these complexes. As far as coming over and hearing stories, I think I have enough credentials to say that this is a HORRIBLE place to stay. Review from Google
Nov 2017: How they treat their customer is so rude. They said "This is just the way it is" before apologizing about the issue that I have. This is what you would hear when you have an issue with this apartment. Not only that, unpleasant face looking from the manager is what you get when you have unpleasant issue with this apartment. A lot of my friends are living in this complex currently, but they are all planning on moving to other place. I would never recommend this apartment. Review from Google
Oct 2017: This place is literally trash. Management keeps getting fired and replaced with people who don’t know how to customer service residents. I understand this is a student living residence but you don’t have to treat your occupants like shit. You will never get a clear answer from anyone in the office. Maintenance will not complete work orders in a TIMELY manner either. Where is all the money going to towards this place because it still looks like crap. You wanna charge residents out the ass for rent and then match people with shit roommates and wonder why you get such bad reviews. I highly DO not recommend this place to live. I signed a 5 month lease here and they will not give me a prorate for rent the last month I am there even though I am not staying the whole month. Professionalism? What is that? This place is awful!!
Oct 2017: If you want somewhere cheap but with everything you would need, this is the place to live. The price is very good for Lubbock and location is near perfect for anyone attending class in Rawls. Maintenance is quick to fix issues and very respectful when in your space. Office workers are very friendly and will do their best to assist you with any problems you have (but remember they are student workers, not corporate). Apartments are by no means luxurious but you are supplied with a bed, desk, dresser, and your own bathroom (which was a must for me). Walls, floors, and ceilings are somewhat thin and you can occasionally hear neighbors but most of the complex seems to remain quiet during the week but can get rowdy on the weekend, I've never had trouble going to bed though. There has been a few cars broken into but if you leave nothing sitting out Review from Google
Oct 2017: Raiders Pass is one of the worst places you could choose to live in. Our air conditioning has been out for two weeks and they will not come and fix it. We have talked with the front office about it, but they will not do anything. The maintenance staff will come in whenever and leave your apartment open. Me and my roommate have both had our cars broken into. There are cheaper options out there and if I could go back I would even pay more to live somewhere else. I would strongly advise looking into a different apartment complex not ran by American Campus Community or look into renting a house. Review from Google
Sep 2017: Not the best place, but definitely not the worst. The workers are friendly, the social atmosphere is just like it is on campus, except with more freedom. The location is great as it is close to campus and a University's bus makes a stop here as well. The lake (large pond) makes for a great addition as well. People around are friendly, especially on game day when they can be seen playing guitar or talking on their balconies. Unfortunately, they don't keep on their rules too tightly, as both my roommates and others in the complex smoke weed indoors everyday, the workers just ignore it. It was dirty when I moved in, since the last roommates simply trashed it before they left, but the commodities all worked fine once I cleaned my portion of it all. The bedrooms are perfect size for one person, and one person only, although two can fit if they ge Review from Google
Aug 2017: Raiders Pass is the worst place to live, it is even worse than other places that I have lived in other countries. When I moved here garbage disposal and the microwave were broken. I was keep telling them for three months to come and fix it. They kept lying to me that we take care of that but they didn't do anything at all. After three months, they emailed me that we fixed the garbage disposal but they didn't. That is obviously a lie. There is huge water leakage on the hallway floor. It looks like a pool. There are three large water leakage spots on the ceiling of kitchen, laundry room and hall way. It's been more than a month that I am asking the people in the main office to fix it but they don't care at all. Just one-day manager came to my place to see the situation, but after that, he disappeared. The situation has become very dangerous in my place every minut
Jul 2017: Pay more cash to live somewhere other than here. Fees are random. Internet goes out daily.managers fix nothing
May 2017: Raiders pass is quite possibly the worst student housing in Lubbock. I would rather live in a dorm than live here again. They take no care for their customers and could care less about what their residents think of the place. Their maintanince men let out my pet and there has been no reprocutions. They continue to disappoint me. I know it's cheap and convenient but I would recommend never living here. My car has been broken into multiple times as have other people's. The people from surrounding neighborhoods use the pools and leave trash everywhere. Something is always broken in the apartment, specifically the a/c and it always takes them forever to fix it. Apr 2017: This was by far the most horrible place I have ever lived. I just wanted a place to stay for summer 2016 because I was taking summer classes. It's the CHEAPEST for a reason! They have bed bugs & the CRAZY thing is they tried to say I brought them in when I HAVE NEVER EVER had bed bugs in my life NO WONDER NOBODY WAS THERE WHEN I GOT THERE!! I was suppose to have 3 other roommates; I wish I was warned before I signed that lease. OBVIOUSLY they were already there when I got there. When I got back home to Dallas, bed bugs all of a sudden disappeared. I felt highly offended when they said I brought them in, my mom is the cleanest person I know & that's who I live with when I'm NOT in LUBBOCK! I suggest you not to move here via sublease at ALL. AND now they are saying I owe them over $800 for the treatment when they were suppose to cover them! They conveniently lost a
Oct 2016: The very first reason as to why you shouldn't live here is the BS. first installment that you have to pay in August which has to be paid in full before you can move in. It has to be paid for the entire month of August but you aren't allowed to move in till the very last few days of the month. The wifi is the absolute worst and if you have homework that is needed to be done online, don't do it here. The wifi will cut out at any moment and can last for hours. The second reason is that I personally have been broken into and know other people that have or had their things stolen from the complex, but raiders --- always give the same response, "we are not responsible for any lost or stolen property. Jun 2016: I decided to rent a place here last Summer despite the bad reviews. I have a feeling some of them are just young people not used to how rental agreements and cleaning fees work. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome (even helped me move in on a Sunday), and I had absolutely no problems with them. Review from 6/7/16 on Google
May 2016: Lived here for over 2 years now. Only reason I am moving out is because I want a 1bed1bath place of my own. Very welcoming and professional is how I felt about the staff. Maintenance was taking care of business within the week, there were about two occasions during my two year stay that took a little longer. My roommates (suite of 4) were very accurate to my request. They do a decent job of keeping the area clean such as the pool and gym. For the price and location, this is a very good apartment complex to live in. Review from 5/27/16 on Google
May 2016: I have lived here now for 2 years. The location to campus has been amazing (I'm a business student and could literally walk to class in 10 minutes). The size of the apartment is nice (I have a 4bed,4bath), the furniture that came with the apartment was nice though I recommend you bring a entertainment center if you want to place a TV on something higher than a coffee table. The kitchen is a tad small for me, not a lot of counter space and the stove/oven needs to be replaced (it works just not the best). The maintenance people can take a while to respond to fix it requests but if you stay on top of the them and get to know the front desk people well you can get things done quicker. I think for the amount of money you are paying you are getting a pretty good deal. Review from 5/24/16 on Google
Jan 2016: Raiders Pass is a very good place to live. I had many places within the property get my school work done and also to release my school stress. What I liked the most from Raiders Pass is that they offered your the best customer service when you need it. I think that their rates are pretty fair since you have access to many different things in the property such as a 24hr. gym, two swimming pools, 2 Jacuzzi, a play room, high speed internet, furnished apartments, 24hr customer service, and etc. If you asked me where else I would live as a student, I would say Raiders Pass!!!
