Oct 2019: I loved living at Oakridge. I was there for 5 years- I started out in their largest one bedroom, but then moved into a 2 bedroom with my fiancé and we lived there together for 4 years.
I loved the amenities- pool, gym, fireplace, balcony, pet friendly, ample parking, covered parking available, there’s a lake across the street perfect for walks or run!
This complex has the best maintaince team around! Kane and Ricky are just wonderful. They are very prompt at arriving to your place to fix anything when you need them.
I had a few issues happen while living there; a pretty big water leak and my A/C died. Both of those issues happened after hours, or on a Sunday- when the office is closed. But Kane and Ricky were always available to help us through it all. My fiancé and I truly miss them.

Aug 2019: I’ve lived here about 4 years now. Good location with easy access to the loop. Safe neighborhood. The current management has been the best since I’ve been here. Really works hard to make sure everything is taken care of. I’ve been having trouble with my a/c in the summers since I moved here, and Kim made an effort to make sure they got it right this time, and they did. Overall I have really enjoyed living here. Jul 2019: This is a great apartment complex that is located right off Loop 289. Despite being so close to the highway, it's pretty quiet. The maintenance here is pretty on top of things, and can more than likely fix a request the same day. Owners are pleasant and we have no complaints. Review from Google
Jun 2019: Great place to live in a nice Neighborhood but I had Just an overall bad experience with the assistant manager being a busy body would recommend to anybody just beware. It’s hard to live your life when you have somebody literally up your business 24/7 asking questions that do not pertain to her she needs to get a life or maybe even a man. Jan 2019: We moved to Texas from out-of-state and were fortunate to find Oakridge Apartments. We were able to get pre-approved before our move, and the management team had it planned so we could move in the day we arrived. The apartments are in a good location with easy access to plenty of stores and restaurants.
We have needed a couple items repaired and the maintenance team was friendly and provided solutions in a timely manner. There was a slight wait on one item since it had to be ordered.
Overall, the apartment complex is clean and taken care of. The front office is available to answer questions and responds quickly.
The apartments are quieter than we expected, and parking is easy but there is an extra fee for covered parking. We are happy we made the move to Oakridge. Dec 2018: The overall neighborhood is very nice and safe . All my neighbors have been pleasant and the staff has been super professional and kind. My only complaint is the time in which it takes to get repairs done. I have had a old refrigerator which is extremely Noisey that keeps me up at night . I went into the office and put in a request but nothing ever came from it. I called the office and once again nothing. I then put in my first request online for the refrigerator 11/02 . Someone came in my apt dusted off the coils in the back and left the dirty rag on the counter and left a note if problem persists please contact office. I then put in another request and was informed that they haven’t spoken with the Maintance crew and were going to check if it needed a part. I called back yesterday and they informed me that I should get a new refrigerator b Review from GoogleNov 2018: This is my first apartment I have ever lived in and I got to say that I couldn't have made a wiser decision. My fiance and I have lived here a year and have been highly satisfied with the complex. The management is friendly and always does their very best to answer any questions we may have. Maintenance is super friendly and quick, and the little golf carts they drive are just adorable! They have a gorgeous pool and courtyard with a picnic table and gazebo. I love the location and how they do their best to keep the area presentable. Management does their absolute best to enforce their tenants to pick up their litter, despite the fact that some of these people still don't listen. They have gone above and beyond in working with me to ensure my daughter and myself's continued comfort. They are quick to fill maintenance orders, even emergency maintenance orders on the weekends and after hours. Most recently I started working out of town and have encountered difficulties in fund availability due to a banking change and between bank transfers, this left me with the added obstacle of paying rent in the usual timely manner. Unit was not cleaned prior to move in and carpets were not cleaned as communicated. Work order was submitted shortly after move in for the master toilet. This was never repaired and i had to just turn off the water. Tenants do not clean up dog poop and it is always everywhere. Keep copies of all of your documentation because management will not. Move out fees are $50 for carpet cleaning and $150 for deep cleaning regardless of condition of apartment. The apartment manager told me that I would not have to pay for carpet cleaning as it was missed at my move in. At move out, the property manager said I should have gotten this in writing. The maintenance men are great. We’ve had a couple small problems that were both fixed within a couple hours. Review from 12/10/16 on GoogleJun 2016: For me, the best apartments have great office staffs, quiet surrounding, and good locations. Oakridge is all of this and more. I have lived here for two years and just signed for another go, and I have no desire to change. You're right off the south loop and can get anywhere in town fast. The apartments are older, but they are well built. The parking lots are well lit and I have never had trouble getting a spot. I have had a number of maintenance problems over the years (the most major being toilet issues) and the maintenance staff took care of all of them the day I called.
