Mar 2022: This is a great quiet place to live. The people who work there care and respond to any issue fast. I loved it there hated to have to leave but had to move for work. You won't find cheaper for the quality.
Sep 2018: The owner (Kim) is mean!!! Even though I cleaned my apt they don't return my deposit! It is not an international student friendly apt! Review from GoogleJul 2018: This dated little gem is snug in Kent, OH. I am a grandmother and truely appreciate the peacefulness of living in this tiny complex. I was concerned with college student noise when I was looking for apartments in the area. Choice of one bedroom or studio units. I have a 1 bed unit, designated parking spot, seperate gas (full size water heater, stove and wall furnace) seperate electric and very clean landscape grounds. The founder/owner lives onsite. There are NO parties here, NO bugs and NO thru the wall or floor noise in my unit (4plex). Mixture of dated cabinets, windows and doors in good condition, supplied window unit air conditioners, ceiling fans, stove and fridge and carpet. On the bus line and Drugmart, Acme, Sheetz gas and 101 laundry are very short walks if you don't have a car. Dec 2017: Landlord is insane. After several maintenance issues arose, he became irate when I updated him that the issues were not fixed. He called me a "pain in the ass", a "jerk", and that I could just move somewhere else if I didn't like the way he did things (this has happened on three separate occasions). He also said I was "lucky I didn't get 'SHOT'" for walking into the main office. Apparently this office is also a residence. It would have been nice to know that I'm not supposed to walk into the main office during office hours, yet no one seemed to inform me on any of these important matters. not worth your stress, money and time.
