Hi, Loading...

May 2018: Staff is very friendly and likable. Rates are very affordable. One of the things I like the most about Market is their bus shuttle and proximity to campus. Review from Google
Apr 2018: This one is a bit cheaper than most, but the savings aren't very much worth it. We practically have to beg maintenance to fix anything. I called them over to see what they could do about the mold on my air vents, and they told us, "actually, that's mildew," and left without doing anything. When I first moved in, three extra people and several animals were living in the apartment outside the lease, and even after the complex discovered them, it took quite some time for them to take action. Even still, our assigned-by-the-complex roommates were problematic, acting violently towards us, damaging the aprtment itself, stealing from us, partying and/or fighting constantly, inviting strangers in for sex and drugs on a regular basis, and so much more. Yet, after asking to be moved to a different unit for all these reasons, we still had to pay a $500 t Review from Google
Apr 2018: After reaching out to staff about maintenance, they did everything to accommodate and the effort was definitely noticed and is greatly appreciated. Overall had a good experience! The staff are always friendly and willing to help. Review from Google
Apr 2018: Don’t even waste your time or money with this place. They moved us into an apartment that WASN’T CLEANED! We had to get the cleaning crew in on move in day an they literally said, "We didn't even do this apartment yet." Everything is stained as well. The apartment is dark because there is no natural lighting. Most of the staff is rude. They will fight you on an issue even when they're wrong. They don't send out notices of when the office will be closed. They just post it on the office door, so you won't even know unless you walk up there. They also try to charge you with fines that don't make sense or don't apply to you. Maintenance is slow and they never fix anything properly. Our door has been broken since we moved in and they manged to make it worse. They also enter the apartment without any advanced warning from the office. I've tol Review from Google
Mar 2018: Awful management, extremely rude! Always in their tentants private business and starting drama. Don’t care to solve roommate disagreements. Don’t solve any issues reported and rig anything broken in the apartment. Makes you feel super unsafe with all the crime, gang violence, drug dealing, and so on that management is aware of and has refused to act on because of favoritism. They also have a really big roach and spider problem. Super trashy! Review from Google
Feb 2018: **Edit 2/28/18: Maintenance is awful. (1) They're slow in responding, especially if it's an emergency. I once had to call the fire department because my entire apartment filled with smoke. The reason? My air filter had not been replaced in a very long time. The fire department had me call maintenance and the guy who answered literally said, "I'll get there when I get there." (2) My dog and I were also almost hit by a maintenance guy in his golf cart. He just cut in front of us while we were crossing the parking lot. (3) I've mentioned that I prefer to be here whenever they enter my room, but they apparently don't respect that. They also do not give advance notice before entering the unit. *Edit: I have yet to hear back from the person who commented on this, and I emailed her over 3 months ago. I also sent a follow up email. The only decent t Review from Google
Feb 2018: Literally the only reason I am giving them one star is because I have to. Part of the office staff is extremely rude, with the exception of a couple of people; these people are not even fit to be in customer service in a fast food restaurant full of high-school students, let alone in a leasing office. They cannot and will not accept when they are wrong and will argue with you until they are blue in the face. They deny any problems they are confronted with, such as: disgusting amounts of mold that will make you sick. They charge ridiculous fees, such as $30 for non-broken blinds that cost $2 at Wal-Mart. They have also charged overages, despite a lease being signed that promised otherwise. There is a huge cockroach problem. The maintenance staff, again with the exception of a few, is slow and only halfway fixes problems that are continually repo Review from Google
Feb 2018: Worst place ever doesn't deserve one star. Roaches be there everyday. They will never go away. Terrible roommate matching. You can open the bathroom door while sitting on the toilet or in the bath tub. It's too small. The leasing office is full of jokesters, the rent is low, until they trick you with a whole lot of fines. So be prepared for that. Wi-Fi sucks goes in and out and dont bother asking the leasing office for help. They just basically gonna tell you to fix it yourself. good luck you will regret it, just read everybody else reviews!👍 Review from Google

Feb 2018: Only giving one star because I have no choice. They tried charging $30 to fix blinds that are not broken. They have horrible customer service. When my dad called up there someone named Whitney picked up and hung up on him. Don’t live here it’s not worth the price or the horrible customer service.! Review from Google
Jan 2018: *Edit: I have yet to hear back from the person who commented on this, and I emailed her over 2 months ago. I also sent a follow up email. The only decent thing about this place is the cheap rent and no overages. The gym equipment is outdated, many of the buildings aren't properly labeled/the numbers are faded or peeling off, there's rotting wood and broken gutters - it's just a mess. Management can be very rude - we went without air conditioning for 2 weeks in the middle of July and they took their sweet time getting around to it, and had an attitude the whole time. (The student workers behind the desk are great though - it's just the 2 white girls, including the property manager, who aren't friendly). This place could really use a dog run. The volleyball area is never used, and there's a nice patch of grass by the maintenance building that Review from Google
Jan 2018: Very old buildings that could use some work--maintenance still has not fixed our door, dryer as well as other little things, but will come in without notifying so be cautious about that! There was one instance where maintenance was in my roommates room for a bit and I had assumed it was her until I received a phone call from her saying that maintenance had just sent an email saying they went into her room--typically you let the tenant know beforehand out of curtesy (like a text or email), especially since we have pets. Sometimes they close their office without sending an email and there will just be a sign on the main office so if you have a package coming make sure to notify them. The staff have been really great about accommodating after the fact and helping you get what you need. The staff are very friendly, which is greatly appreciated Review from Google
Oct 2017: I am a former resident of Market 100. Since moving there I was satisfied enough because the cost was relatively low and I am not particularly demanding on what I want and need. After move out though a couple of issues popped up. I usually do not write reviews but when I do it usually mean something is very good or something is very bad and for this case its the latter. The apartment was okay when it was University Village but once that changed into Market 100, I can see that the staffing and management has gone downhill. I can tell that walking up to the front desk that the staff does not sound as courteous as the staff compared when it was University Village and that were OK at best. University Village used to host event weekly but when it changed to Market 100 it is much less frequent. This shows that Market 100 does not really show it cares Review from Google
Sep 2017: I wish I had stayed in my old apartment. This one is a bit cheaper, yes, but in the month and a half I've stayed here, I've already seen that the savings weren't worth it. In one of the units we viewed, not a single appliance worked properly. The unit we live in now has several issues as well, but it is livable. The front office staff is super nice and seems to try to work with us, but they aren't very effective. I HATE giving negative r Review from Google
Jul 2017: Overall, you get what you pay for. I am in the "standard" 2x2 apartment. Note, standard apartments have carpet and older appliances and aren't quite like the model apartment they show you. Cabinets are a bit run down and kitchen/bathroom floors are not in great shape either. I will say though that the reviews on here may be a bit out dated. Front office staff are nice and a few of them know me by name. Every service request I have put in was answered within 2-3 days, sometimes shorter depending on when I put the request in. As for the bugs, they only really come around when I leave for extended periods of time and the apartment is vacant or when I keep the front door open a little too long. They sprayed the inside for bugs recently and I haven't seen any since. I have been living here for over a year now and while there are definitely nicer Review from Google
May 2017: Terrible place to move, bad customer service. People in the front office don't try to help tenets. Cheap rent tho, apartment small. Basically don't move here you'll regret it. Review from 5/31/17 on Google
May 2017: I am moving here in August, I am excited but also nervous after reading some of the reviews. I can't speak a whole lot for the living arrangements and charges or anything yet but I do know that the short period of time that I have been dealing with the staff at Market 100, they have been really patient and super helpful! Review from 5/25/17 on Google
Jan 2017: Initially when I moved in on August 2011, staff was friendly and apartment was decent. Over time, however, they tried to charge me for damages that I stated in my move in sheet. Also, when I moved out, they claimed that I caused damages. I took pictures, video, etc to prove that there was no damage other than standard wear and tear. I emailed them continuously to resolve this issue and they stated that there was no visible damage. Now, they sent my fine to the collection agency so I will have to go to court to settle this. They will rip you off, do not live here. Review from 1/19/17 on Google
Sep 2016: They have bed bugs. They don't tell you this though. Whenever they change out the bed, the new bed has bed bugs. When I first moved in my bed had bugs, I had it changed and that one had bugs as well. One of the staff members informed me that that storage they keep the mattresses in has bed bugs that's why most of them have them. I'm thinking if you all knew where the problem was coming from you would fix it. Wrong. So if you wake up itching, you know why. Also, they guy on staff named Jeremy is shitty & not helpful. Their lease is ridiculous. If I could go back, I wouldn't haven chosen this place.
May 2016: Every time I put in a work request they are very fast in fixing the problem. The front desk people are very friendly and helpful. I love the staff. Should add a dog park? Review from 5/20/16 on Google
May 2016: Market 100 has gotten a lot better since it was taken over by new management. The residents were very friendly & it is a quiet neighborhood. Review from 5/17/16 on Google
Mar 2016: Such a beautiful property! I would recommend it to anyone. Cheap place to live but has everything you need. Updated everything, beautiful pool and great clubhouse. Review from 3/2/16 on Google
Nov 2015: I've loved it here! The staff is so nice and helpful, and they make personal connections with the residents. The maintenance crew is awesome too! Very fast, very effective. Review from 11/03/15 on Apartment Ratings
Nov 2015: Everything is fine. Everyone is very friendly! I never thought that I would live in UV. I don't regret it, I see it's a great experience. UV @ southern is the best. Review from 11/03/15 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2015: I lived here for 4 years in two different apartments, and have to say that the management has definitely gone downhill. The staff was friendly most of the time, but trying to deal with the most recent property manager was always difficult. When trying to reach her, she was normally unavailable, and then rude when you did speak. She once decided that the best place to handle a meeting about fines they'd placed on my account was outside so she could plop down and smoke a cigarette while talking to me, always unprofessional. Constantly trying to charge for things that were like that when I moved into the apartment. Review from 7/27/15 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2014: University Village at Southern is the best apartment complex in Statesboro. It is affordable and the housing staff is so accommodating. I lived on campus for the first two years at Georgia Southern. I was apprehensive about moving off campus, but now I am glad that I did. I work to support myself while I am in school and I have always had the assistance of the leasing agents to work with me when I needed them. There are always events going on in the clubhouse. It is never a boring day at University Village at Southern. My neighbors are amazing and the community as a whole is so inviting. UVS is my home away from home! Review from 7-13-2014 on Google
