Jul 2019: Just moved in here 01/01/2019 and we love our neighbors, and love the inside of the apartment. Yea, we get the occasional cockroach or earwig, but that’s almost every apartment complex in Wilmington; we live near tons of water. At first, we loved the area in and around Holton Place Condos, but then we payed attention more to the surrounding community. We live in one of the first buildings, and even super close to the road there has been a few break-ins recently. I honestly wouldn’t advise someone not to move here per say, but definitely be cautious. We like it here, and it was more peaceful at the beginning of the year, but there has been some stuff going down. It seems like the dangerousness of some parts Market street is creeping in. Jan 2019: Hoa leaves a lot to be desired. The guy that drives around in the tundra and says that he works for the hoa is a real tool. Watched him on multiple occasions harass young black kids at the pool. Bring his own dog to the pool, and holler to have someone let him in when he didn't have his key (he wouldn't let someone in once bc they left their key at home). Hypocritical and NOT someone that I would want representing my association. Other than him, we love living here lol Review from Google
Aug 2017: My daughter has lived here for a year. It is a very nice complex that is well kept and clean. She has had NO parking issues and I have parked in the guest spots when visiting her with no issue. This is a great location and the residents seem very nice .She has never witnessed any bad behavior or loud parties. She was able to study at any time as it was always quiet. Review from Google
May 2017: Since XXXX took over as HOA president 4 or 5 years ago this place looks like a slum. There's no lawn maintenance at all. He paid $50,000 to put in water meters then didn't use them. He paid to replace the decks only to have them replaced again a few months later by a different company without getting any money back from the first place. There is a retaining wall behind one of the buildings that badly needs repair but he hasn't done it.
Review from 5/17/17 on GoogleMay 2017: I've lived here for several years now, and I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's neglected, run down and seedy looking. There have been several break ins during the day out here when people are at work. A couple of years ago there was a home invasion in the middle of the night out here in one of the condos. I've tried to sell my place many times but no one is interested. The only way to sell this place is to take a big loss.

Jan 2014: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE worst rental company I have ever dealt with. Not professional at all, will never return your phone calls. Had to constantly call them just to have the lease sent to me to sign. What? Do they not want to rent the place? Should have been a red flag! Put incorrect payment dates on rental payments, would not fully refund deposit yet would not provide any proof for reason it was kept. They have very negative reviews and even the owner of the company has had complaints and disputes waged against her that still are not settled. Grounds are well kept and apartments have spacious floor plans but walls are very very thin. Review from 1/23/14 on Apartment Ratings
