Jun 2019: I was impressed with how clean this property is, it’s in a perfect location, walking distance Mill Ave. but not be in the middle of it. All the staff is awesome. Management is great and maintenance is extremely helpful. It has been renovated and everything looks amazing. Apartments are spacious and clean. There’s a smell of cleaner that is present though out the community. It’s small details make this a great place to live at. Review from Google

The property itself is great and somehow keeps getting better with multiple recent renovations. Plus, it’s central to anything you’d want to do in the Phoenix metropolitan area. However, if you’re a person that needs silence to get a good night’s rest, this isn’t your place. You are literally right underneath a direct flight path to Phoenix airport. You can hear the jet engine at all times during the day and night. When I moved out, builders started the new complex right next door so I can only imagine how bad the noise is now.
Additionally, the AC bills I paid here were quite ridiculous - upwards of $300.00 a month. I know something was wrong with my AC due to it constantly running and only shutting off for short periods of time. It was always humid in my apartment (even with AC running). Management claimed nothing was wrong with my unit. They sent one of their “techs†over just to drain the water from the leakage catch-pan - they did nothing else Review from GoogleFeb 2019: I wouldn't recommend anyone live here. AS I am typing this review there are sounds of heavy construction over at the new apartment complex which I will most likely sign my lease over there once it ends here. This place is absolutely awful. I am very fearful of leaving my belongings in my car/bike outside because the likelihood of it being stolen is very, very high. Security here is an absolute joke. The "renovated" gym was so filled with new machines however most of them are now broken and the lofts hasn't really done a thing about it! Disgusting place. The new color of the building is this ugly blue probably set to compete with the nearby new apartment complex.
What makes matters worse is I was charged a fee for other neighbors on my floor letting their animals pee outside my door. This is my 3rd year to living this apartment. I usually don’t leave reviews on internet unless I have really really bad experiences.
First of all, I moved to Arizona 3 years ago. I looked around the whole complex area (especially parking lot and securty system) before I sign up my lease agreement. I just want to make sure that I’m living in safe area but few month later, I noticed that there is no single security camera around this complex so I requested this issue 3 years ago (previous and current management company) and they never put security cameras till now.
Recently, on December 4th, my car got broken down at underground parking lot. This happened at midnight and the someone from outside broken into my car and took my tools. My apartment is large and nice and I've had no issues with any maintenance requests (light bulbs, snaking the shower drain, etc). The staff in the office has always been friendly to me.
As of September, there is a brand new gym. You can really tell the new management cares about making things nice! Sep 2018: I just viewed, and applied for an apartment here yesterday afternoon. I have been looking for a new place to call home for a couple weeks now, and I'm very happy that I came across The lofts at Rio Salado. Great location, great amenities, and great price! I really liked what they have to offer, but most of all the Staff that went out of their way to help me find the right place. Tammie was super helpful.

1) The place is filthy. The walls, sidewalks, hallways, stairwells, elevators, etc. are covered with stains, gum, spiderwebs etc.
2) The management is not good, specifically in dealing with service requests. On multiple occasions, it took more than a month to get someone to show up to fix things in our apartment that didn't work properly before we even moved in. In addition, there were several occasions where management or people they had hired entered our apartment without our permission and not even to repair anything.
3) There are several mandatory fees for services that I never used (ex: Trash valet, community shared gas charges?)
