Sep 2019: Have not enjoyed living here, The location is great however neighbors are nosy cannot mind their own business, moved in with a broken dishwasher/handles in the bathroom, had maintence check out my stove and all they wrote was that it turns on... also have had my laundry stolen TWICE.. the workers are nice except for one lady who never smiles.. also WAAYYY overpriced for a studio apartment.. UPDATE the maintenance worker Derick Lowe came in this past week and fixed my dishwasher and sink he did an amazing job and I’m super happy about it all so I’ll give three stars now bc he even left a sweet note and told me everything he did to my sink!! Sep 2019: I've had the pleasure of residing at Scottsdale Gateway now for three years. I was referred by a former resident/friend, who lived here before purchasing their first home. As I downsized my life, and selected this place as my home, the entire staff works harmoniously to build our Community as one, through organizing and participating in Social events, recognizing my grandchildren who visit, even caring for the happiness of my sweet, dog. They have always quickly addressed every maintenance request, and all concerns to maintain the safety of our residency. I can't think of living anywhere else. Thank you. Review from Google
Sep 2019: Upon moving to Scottsdale Gateway apartments I had no idea what kind of treat I was in for. I normally shy away from writing bad reviews because I know how damaging they can be but I’d like to at least share my experience living here. Everything started out okay but quickly took a turn for the worst. I found a cockroach in my kitchen one night and called the office to get pest control out to spray. Not long after I started noticing not just one cockroach but multiple occurrences. I was finding cockroach poop in my silverware drawers and my pantry cabinets. There were babies everywhere and they still insisted it wasn’t an infestation. It got so bad that I no longer wanted to even live in the uninhabited environment. Not only was in uninhabitable, but the front door weather stripping was shot upon my arrival and it took them three tries before that was fixed. At this point I made it clear that I wanted to switch units because I could no longer fathom living in that one Review from Google
Aug 2019: Do. Not. Live. Here. You pay a security deposit you expect to get back and get scammed out of that. On top of that utilities were shut off more frequent than not. Was told probably 3 times that water was being shut off but at no point was told when it’d be back on. Running the heat for about 8 months even when it’s about 90 degrees at night and not being able to get the ac on when you were told it’s 5 months that it would be off. I also had people knocking on my door in the middle of the night. The whole apt complex is just super scammy, there’s better options out there. Just save yourself now. Jan 2019: Things started out a little rough. Some problems with my apartment. But the young cool maintenance dude came out fixed everything and quickly. Daisy, Ben, and Christina are all friendly when I go to the office which is everyday because I order online alot because I had a stroke and still have numbness in my left leg. I see Rob, one of the bosses cruising the property all the time. Even says hi Chris. They just spent at least a couple of thousand dollars on the laundry room and put in all new landscaping today. So far, a good experience overall. Maintenance guys are friendly and very competent. Now if the delivery people would just deliver to my door I'd be good. Pool looks beautiful but we'll have to wait. Nov 2018: Horrible, horrible management.
They WILL defraud you out of your security deposit. This is a given.
You can live there for years, leave with immaculate carpet, and they will still yank it out, and fraudulently charge you for it.
They have no conscience.
The grounds are run down badly, and homeless people wander them.
You will get harassed by solicitors, too.
If you are lucky enough to get adjacent partying college kids, expect the paper thin walls to party all night long with them - and the management will do absolutely nothing about it.
I cannot not recommend this place enough.

Oct 2018: I’ve been here three years now and I regret re-signing my lease every SINGLE day..
Our first summer the air conditioner started pouring water. Maintenance took several days to respond and when they did must have done some bandaid repair because it leaks every summer, they come back and do the same thing and it begins leaking once more before the summer is over. And when I say leaking I mean dripping a lot of water, enough to fill up cook pots.
In addition to the air conditioner our dishwasher has never properly worked, we called at least three times and had someone look at it and they told us to rinse our dishes more when we loaded it, except we were practically already washing them before putting them in. On the last call the maintenance manager said he would come look at it himself and make sure he fixed the problem - he never showed u Review from Google
Sep 2018: I don't love this community because I do not feel value matched the rent. It is outdated. The utilities are antiquated - ac and heat run on chiller boiler system; google it. Management decides when to switch to one or the other. There are no washers or dryers in the units and they cannot be accommodated. The web site lists it as an apartment amenity; you get my drift. Bugs are still residing within - sewer cockroaches. Utility shut offs are more than desired. Get a copy of everything you sign and keep it. . . I was alleged to have not given 60 day Notice, luckily

Apr 2018: Greystar (the management company) is notorious for its constantly changing staff and broken promises, so I wasn't surprised to find that in this complex as well. I had every issue imaginable from flooding (no drains in the stairwell, they fixed by burying a bucket under the bricks with white tacky pvc pipe up the wall and into the gravel, such an eyesore!) to ants (coming up from under my floor panels!) to my toilet flooding multiple times (and it being blamed on me every time, even haraased as to what toilet products I use, which they would know because they pulled everything out from under my sink!) until it was discovered a presumed contractor had dumped so much paint into the drains some odd years ago that it hardened and was now clogging the pipes, to my wall bubbling with moisture (which was scraped off and repainted 5 times before anyon Review from GoogleApr 2018: If you do not want to hear the truth or have the time for a detailed review stop reading now. Where to start? How about the fake fees. $15 a month for "parking lot upkeep", $5 a month administration to pay your bill, $2 a month pest control. Keep in mind you are not assigned your own covered parking spot. Every spot is first come first serve (sometimes you wont find a close spot to your unit). I am uploading a picture of parking lot curb that has been ripped out of the ground and laying on its side for 6 months straight (notice the timestamps on both photos). There has been no "upkeep" - where has my $15 a month gone for parking lot service if they can't even put this curb back in the ground? Review from Google
Apr 2018: I don't recommend moving here. It appears eveyone has a dog and they bark all the time and the office does nothing. When we moved in the closet doors were broken and they refused to fix them. The office responded, most of the doors are broken. They are currently leaning against the wall. The drains clog all the time, so be expected to buy drain-o. The carpets were supposed to be clean upon move-in but they were black. Make sure your packages don't get sent to the office cause you will never see them. They office holds packages as a courtesy and are not responsible if they are lost or stolen. I love how my packages from JCREW and Victorias Secret mysteriously are never found in the front office when shipping states it was delivered there. Jan 2018: If you like living without power...sign up for this place. The power goes out about once a month. The apartment that I’ve had has had water issues (dishwasher, shower, garbage disposal, you name it) ever since I’ve moved in and maintenance never seems to be able to fix anything long term. Very frustrating!!
The first year living here was alright. It’s a decent place for the price but the little announces get to you after a while. It is in a good area and it’s a quiet/safe community and some things are renovated (some aspects of the apartments and pool area) but if you can afford something nicer, do it. First of all, this is NOT A SAFE PLACE to be. While I was there, this property LET REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS live here. So for those of you who have kids, I definitely do not recommend living here. SAFETY IS NOT A TOP PRIORITY at Scottsdale Gateway. Laundry is terrible... They installed brand new laundry units but they do not dry. It will take you at least 3 tries to completely dry your small load, and that will be almost $15 dollars out of your pocket...don't let the price fool you into thinking you are getting value or a decent apartment.
