Nov 2018: I have been here for the past three months and this time I have had certain good and few bad experiences. Overall except for the rate it's fine. Review from Google
Nov 2018: Do not move here. I had a scheduled move in for Wednesday. I arrived at the apartment with my movers to pick up the keys and it wasn't ready. They told me to come back the following Monday because it was still being renovated. After hours of arguing they agreed to pay for my stuff to be put in storage and pay for the movers to bring everything back on Monday. They offered me a hotel and said they'd compensate me for my meals. They also said they would compensate me for the utilities bill because they had already put everything in my name while they were renovating. After 8 months I had not been reimbursed for anything. After 10 months and many emails arguing with the managers, they reimbursed me for the electricity that was charged to me before I moved in. I am still waiting for hundreds of dollars in compensation. I have paper documentation a Review from Google
Nov 2018: I have had an overall great experience thus far. Ran into a couple complications early, and they were fixed right away. The amenities are great, the people are great and so is the staff. Review from Google
Sep 2018: More average for Tempe than anything. The apartments are a little noisy and paper thin, but it's possible to live there. Good appliances and great staff, just not somewhere you would want to live if you are anything but a student. Review from Google
Jun 2018: I assumed that the leasing staff is very friendly. However, they are really rude and no one answers the questions reliably. Our lease end date was not communicated to us properly and all the front desk people kept telling us the wrong dates. Due to this reason we were charged hundreds of bucks at the end since they were not diligent enough with their response. I would never recommend this place to anyone due to the unprofessional behaviour of the leasing staff. Review from Google
Jun 2018: Move somewhere better. Anywhere really. Pipes are old, cockroaches everywhere, rotting cabinets, paint layered over older pain until hair is stuck in the walls. Gym is gross and never clean. Several people have been robbed in the parking lot. Lights are out, other things broken. The leases are not for 1 year so they make you move out early (half a month) before other places are open for renting. Oh, and they don't honor the lease agreement when it comes to move out. For the extra money of a furnished apartment you could buy your own crappy furniture and it would be better than theirs anyway. It keeps going up in price for no improvement in maintenance or management. P.S. Lived here since 2014 when it actually made sense because the rent was $500 Review from Google
Jun 2018: Big community popular among Indians. Good facilities like gym, game room, study room and regular events to keep people connected. Although Recently rent has risen a lot.. that's why 3 star. Review from Google

May 2018: This apartment complex is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. From the odor that comes from the vents (even after you have litnevery candle known to Man), to the broken A/C (that stays broken), to the now disconnected leasing office number. While I am grateful to have someplace to lay down and sleep, this place definitely is not someplace I would call home. My lease is ending soon but it could not come soon enough. Recommendation: Lease somewhere else, he’ll anywhere else. Because a place that would cater to both college students and working adults and families is not thinking about anything other than the money. Review from Google
May 2018: UPDATE - MORE FEES: Suddenly changed their policies and now paying your rent online incurs a $26 fee! I am finally moving out at the end of this month, and what a relief it will be! I'm tired of getting nickle and dimed for every little thing, while also overpaying for an outdated apartment. I've lived here for 4 years now... The ownership and management changed in the last year or two (I don't remember exactly when the change happened), and things did get a bit better. HOWEVER, we are now getting charged for parking. In the 4 years I've lived here, there has never been a charge for parking. Nothing has been improved, nothing has been upgraded, and yet this month we are now being charged for something that was free last month. Absolutely ridiculous... It would be one thing if they upgraded the covered parking, or did something that warranted Review from Google
Apr 2018: 12Fifty5 is a great place for any student to live, apartments are spacious and have a patio or balcony. They are walking distance from ASU and close to all the fun and entertainment. The staff in the leasing office is always helpful and understanding when it comes to student needs. They offer great events for the residents. Review from Google
Apr 2018: If I could give this place negative stars, I would. While signing the lease, one of this girls would not talk to my parents even though they were cosigning and it was their money on the line. Very rude all around. I moved in last year and was only able to stay there for a month. During that God awful month, I had to deal with roaches and bed bugs even before I moved my stuff into the apartment. I also had to deal with a smell that was a risk for my health. I had to get my apartment "bug bombed" 3+ times and it didn't take care of the problem. Due to those 3+ times, I had to leave the apartment for 24 hours each time. That messed with my schooling because I had to live in another city and commute to school. The third day I was living there, one of the maintenance people even admitted that there is an infestation of roaches everywhere on the pro Review from Google
Mar 2018: Infested, dirty apartments, unresponsive management. Inspite of keeping the apartments clean, there is a severe roach problem in 1255. We got a bedbug infested, unclean apartment. No support offered by management on seeking help. They instead blamed us by saying that we got the bugs from our luggage even after showing the proof of infestation existence before moving into the apartment. No pest control treatment helps. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Review from Google
Feb 2018: I like the set up to the apartment (master bedroom is a plus) and the location is great. However, there is too many roaches in the complex. I spray like crazy and keep up with my apartment and still will see some every so often. Maintenance and the front office for the most part is a really good staff. They do have a few young female workers in front office who are very quick to snap at you for asking questions or voicing your concern. I went to ask a question about if I can get my apartment sprayed for roaches and a worker told me to just make sure my unit is clean and there won't be bugs lol. Review from Google
Feb 2018: I have been living here at 1255 for about 4 months now and would say that my experience so far has been great. The whole 1255 team is very helpful and responds to any situation almost immediately. Apart from that the pool parties, occasional food and drink events are fun too. Review from Google
Feb 2018: The complex is nice; the front desk is nice but remember you are dealing with young adults. At move out, we were given a move-out credit which mysteriously disappeared when we received our final bill. Pay very close attention to your lease and to your account. Lastly, if you request to be matched with a roommate, don't be surprised if your roommate meets none of your criteria. Review from Google
Jan 2018: 12Fifty5 is a great place, apartments have plenty of space. The staff is always helpful and offer great events for people to know each other. I love the pools and that I am walking distance to ASU. Review from Google
Dec 2017: Nice place, apartments have plenty of space. didn't have much luck with the community when I was living there, but the staff do offer some events for people to know each other. Maintenance was quick and good when I asked for it. A problem would be that it´s totally not safe to have a bike anywhere but inside your apartment. Also the elevator was out of other very often. Review from Google
Nov 2017: Lived there for 2 years. I was a transfer from an East Coast University and didn't know anyone when I got there. The complex is in a perfect location and the apartments definitely had enough space. It definitely can have a lively atmosphere but if you need peace and quiet it is there as well. As an upperclassman transfer I was very pleased to meet so many great neighbors that turned out to be friends I will know for life. Review from Google
Nov 2017: Mostly positive experience for the year and a half I’ve lived here. Quick maintenance, clean and well kept community and decent sized apartments. The game rooms, pools and study rooms are well equipped. Free food events are nice. Can get pretty noisy at times. Bike thefts are common and many apartments have roach problems. The back gate is never shut and anyone can just walk or drive in. The front office was severely understaffed when I lived here, with only 3 women handling the issues arising in the 24/25 buildings in the community. Review from Google
Nov 2017: I would definitely recommend this complex. While the neighbors can be noisy, particularly when it comes to late night pool escapades, management has been generally receptive and proactive about this problem, which I appreciate. The maintenance staff are also on top of things and quite friendly. However, my favorite aspect of this complex is the grounds and layout. There are mature trees and plenty of grass, which make it feel like a little oasis in the city. Review from Google
Jun 2017: They have spent a lot of money here over the past 3 years. I constantly see improvements. My rent has gone up a little each year but it's still a good value for what I get. The people who work here are friendly. I would recommend this place. Review from 6/8/17 on Google
Jun 2017: I have lived here for three semesters and it's not nearly as bad as some people say. The office staff is great and I love the mature trees on property! Shade is a top priority in AZ. It's near campus and an easy bike ride to Four Peaks. Great location. The rent is a little more than my last complex but I think it's worth it. Review from 6/8/17 on Google
Jun 2017: The girls in the office are pretty nice. The apartments are a great value. They have a lot of events with good food. The maintenance guys are fast. The location is great. I'm pretty satisfied with everything here. Review from 6/6/17 on Google
Jun 2017: It's disappointing that I actually had to give 12fifty5 at least 1 star. The apartments are completely infested with roaches. If you think yours will be any different, you're wrong. The management is terrible. The front desk girls are apathetic about their jobs, not trained, and unresponsive when a problem arises. The landlord talks down to foreign students and she is especially inconsiderate to them. The environment is obnoxious. Review from 6/2/17 on Google
